Structured Doctoral Programmes

Doctoral training at the University of Salzburg offers young academics an opportunity to start their own research work. In order to strengthen the structured training of doctoral students, the university participates in various research programmes on an international and national level.

Some of the Structured Doctoral Programmes the university participates in are:

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (Innovative Training Networks)

FWF- Doctoral Programmes

Training Programmes Funded by Foundations or State Subsidies

Doctorate School PLUS

In addition to the externally funded training programmes, the 20 internally established doctoral colleges of the Doctorate School PLUS (DSP) make a significant contribution to promoting young researchers too.
