Religious Studies Salzburg

Religious Studies deals with religions, spiritualities and worldviews as cultural studies. It analyzes texts, rituals, media, objects, history, spaces, aesthetics, economy, conflicts, as well as learning and dialogue processes of individuals and society. Religious studies also examines changes caused by migration, pluralization, and global dynamics in the context of religious identity. A two-year master course as well as a doctoral programme in Religious Studies are offered at the University of Salzburg. For an option in English we offer a first year "Interreligious Studies" at the College of interreligious Studies. After obtaining B2 German students can continue in the 2nd year at PLUS MA Religious Studies.
