Dr. Alexander Novotny Msc.

Dr. Alexander Novotny MSc. is an information security and privacy specialist and interested in the human-centered design of technology.
He is an information security manager of cyber risks in the utilities industry, a certified CIS information security manager, a certified auditor for the IT-security, a standardization expert and a member in various centres and institutes dealing with ethical issues in information technology.

Dr. Novotny has been teaching lectures on information privacy and security, the digital society, ethical computing, and information and communication technology.

Since the summer term 2021 he is conducting the interdisciplinary seminar “Ethical Digitalisation in Organizations” within the master program “Wirtschaftswissenschaften”.
