The ISDCL is a legally incorporated, not-for-profit association which brings together scholars engaged in the research and teaching of Deuterocanonical biblical literature and related literatures.

Aim
The aim of the ISDCL is to conduct academic research into the deuterocanonical biblical texts and related literature, and to share the outcomes of this research from an international, interconfessional and interreligious perspective.
The association promotes:
1. Regular international conferences at various academic institutions;
2. The publication of conference proceedings;
3. Individual research projects, as well as their promotion and publication;
4. Dialogue with related disciplines.
