On November 25, 2024, Tijn de Vos successfully defended their dissertation titled “Graph Sparsification in Distributed and Dynamic Settings” at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg (PLUS).

Four of the group’s recent research papers were accepted to the ACM-SIAM Symposium on Discrete Algorithms (SODA25).

We believe that our research community should aim for a significant reduction of carbon emissions and evolve towards more sustainable practices. As an objective, we commit ourselves to reducing our emissions by at least 50% before 2030 relative to pre-2020 levels.
