Matthias Heinz ist Professor für französische und italienische Sprachwissenschaft am Fachbereich Romanistik. Als Dekan vertritt er die Fakultät mit Blick auf die strategische Entwicklung der Fakultät in Forschung und Lehre und koordiniert die Arbeit der fakultären Gremien. Dabei obliegt es ihm, den Lehrveranstaltungs- und Prüfungsbetrieb in den Studien der Kulturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät abzustimmen und sicherzustellen sowie die Verwaltungsaufgaben und Infrastrukturen an der Fakultät zu organisieren. Er vertritt die Fakultät gegenüber dem Rektorat.

Dorothea Weber ist Professorin für Klassische Philologie / Latein am Fachbereich Altertumswissenschaften, ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf der Literatur der Spätantike. Als stellvertretende Dekanin ist sie für Habilitations- und Berufungskommissionen zuständig.
