The manuscript “Bootstrapping Dynamic Distance Oracles” by Sebastian Forster,  Gramoz Goranci,  Yasamin Nazari, and Antonis Skarlatos has been accepted to the 31st Annual European Symposium on Algorithms (ESA 2023).

Christiane Baumeister, the Lambert Family Professor and Co-Chair of the Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame, visited our department from July 10th to 13th. During her visit, Christiane actively collaborated with members of the PLUS Department of Economics on projects involving the integration of micro and macroeconomic data in econometric models, as well as nonparametric techniques for oil price forecasting.

Ass.-Prof. Dr. Lisa Windsteiger’s research about perceived inequality, socio-economic segregation and which factors affect public support for economic policies is featured in “Die Presse”.
