Transportation 
You are responsible for your own transportation arrangements but we would like to provide you with the following information to assist you with these arrangements. 



Train:
Salzburg is easily accessible by train. There are departures every hour from Munich HBF (duration: 1:30 with the express train (Railjet), about two hours with the regional train) and from Vienna (around 2:30 with the express train). A walk from the train station to the University should take you about 25-30 minutes. The bus ride takes around 10 minutes (2,10€: Lines 1, 3, 5, 6). 


Plane:

The W.A. Mozart Airport in Salzburg is relatively well connected. A taxi ride from the airport to the University costs approximatively 20 €. The bus ride takes around 10-15 minutes (2,10: Lines 2, 10, 27). 



Accommodation
Religious accommodations are relatively affordable and most of them are well-located. You might find reduced prices for hotel rooms on  trivago.com. Since there are no festivals in Salzburg at the time of the conference, many good hotels reduce their prices significantly. You can also check at salzburg.info for a complete list of accommodations.
