Philosophy attempts to find answers to fundamental questions of human existence that satisfy the criteria of scientific knowledge. The master’s program aims to deepen the basic knowledge already acquired in the most important philosophical disciplines. It provides a sound understanding of different scientific approaches to reality as well as a broad and profound knowledge of the diverse philosophical positions in history and the present. Ample room is given to the development of individual interests and emphases. In addition, the program enables students to grasp problems precisely, to think critically, to argue correctly, to make well-founded judgments, and to deal constructively with different perspectives.
