when citizens participage in the scientific process

Hello and welcome to WIFF / Citizen Science!
We are the hub of dialogue between science and all actors in society and the economy. We promote the visibility of the PLUS research landscape. It is important to us to work with you, because the “big issues” of our time need many thinkers.
That is “citizen science”, the participation of society at large in science. Citizen Science, Responsible Science, Open Innovation and Crowd Sourcing are just a few names for how science can connect with society and the economy.
The active networking between science, society and the economy constantly creates new impulses and innovations. As a source of inspiration, we regularly offer exciting events from a wide variety of areas of society.

Are you interested in participating in one of our Citizen Science projects and would like to share your ideas and knowledge with other amateur and professional scientists?
Or are you running a scientific project in which students and citizens or even business partners could participate? Send us an email! We look forward to hearing from you and would be happy to help you implement your ideas.
