Shaping science together with society
Welcome!
We are a place for dialogue between science and society. Our goal is to make the research landscape of the University of Salzburg visible and to develop it further together with you. The big challenges of our time need many perspectives, ideas, and committed people. That’s exactly what Citizen Science is about: the active involvement of society in scientific processes. Citizen Science, Responsible Science, and Open Science show how science can be conducted openly and further developed together with society. Through this exchange, new impulses, questions, and insights continuously arise. As initiators, we regularly offer exciting events from a wide range of fields and create space for participation and networking.
Would you like to join in?
Are you interested in participating in a citizen science project and want to share your knowledge and ideas with other engaged people?
Or are you working on a research project yourself and want to actively involve citizens or students?
Then feel free to send us an email – we look forward to hearing from you and will help you bring your ideas to life!
