Education :

  • 1978 Doctorate in meteorology at the University of Vienna
  • 1985 PhD degree in psychology at the University of Salzburg

Research: Physics and psychology training were combined as environmental psychology. Complex field projects and mixed methods studies on architecture/housing and energy consumption (project focus BMVIT Housing of Tomorrow), environmental quality/quality of life, tourism and weather risks were carried out in cooperation with the Vienna University of Technology, Z_GIS (interdisciplinary Centre of Competence for Geoinformatics, Salzburg University), ZAMG Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics and companies. Other project contacts with environmental protection, technical colleges and an advertising agency.
