This course is for students who already have basic competencies in English. All modes of communication (reception, production, interaction, mediation) will be further developed in this course. You will also train study skills in English. Supplementally to the language course a tutorial of one additional hour per week is offered. Attendance is not compulsory, but we strongly recommend attending the tutorial.

This course continues from the winter semester but is generally suitable for students who would like to develop their language skills at this level. The four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) as well as vocabulary and grammar will be covered. Participants will be expected to give a short oral presentation in class and complete writing assignments based on different topics and genres.
