Beschreibung
Dieser Kurs richtet sich speziell an Studierende, Lehrende und ForscherInnen (bzw. alle interessierten Personen), die ihre Kenntnisse der Wissenschaftssprache Deutsch erweitern und vertiefen möchten. Im Kurs werden die TeilnehmerInnen ihre Kompetenzen in den Bereichen Lesen und Schreiben ausbauen und perfektionieren. Thematisiert werden neben ausgewählten Textsorten (z.B. Zusammenfassung/Exzerpt, Abstract) auch spezifische Strukturen der Wissenschaftssprache sowie Lern- und Arbeitstechniken.

This course is for students of any discipline and aims to prepare students with the language needed for a career in international business and commerce. A range of topics from various business fields will be covered. We will also take a closer look at the language of business presentations, meetings and negotiations and even though the course is based on a book there will be time to tackle some authentic materials such as TED Talks and short films.
