The habilitation represents one of the highest academic qualifications in the higher education system. It certifies not only outstanding research achievements but also the ability to independently represent a field in research and teaching. The habilitation confers the right to teach (venia docendi) – a significant step in an academic career and a sign of the highest academic recognition. Habilitated researchers make a significant contribution to the academic profile of our faculty: – They strengthen the international visibility of our research. – They bring in-depth expertise to the education of students, particularly in advanced studies and the supervision of doctoral dissertations. – They enrich academic exchange within the university as well as in collaborations with external partners from business, industry, and society.

Through their work, postdoctoral researchers make a valuable contribution to the knowledge society by developing new insights, advancing innovative methods, and disseminating knowledge sustainably both within and beyond the university.
