CAS’s (Chinese Academy of Science) International Visiting Students Program 2026
CAS’s International Visiting Students Program is designed for outstanding international graduate students from prominent universities and institutes to participate in short-to-medium-term research visits at affiliated institutes or universities of CAS.
WHAT WILL YOU DO? Carry out training, academic visits, or collaborative research activities at CAS institutes or universities for 1-6 months
WHAT DO WE OFFER?10,000 yuan per month (including accommodation, domestic travel, and living expenses)Another 10, 000 yuan for the international flight costs
WHO CAN APPLY?International graduate students (non-Chinese nationals) at world-renowned universities or research institutes
*FOR 2026 TERM:Application Deadline: March 31, 2026In principle, the visit should be concluded before June 30, 2027.
Application Procedure:
Student contact CAS researchers to jointly fill in the application forms→ CAS researcher make application in the internal system→ The Host Institute Evaluation → Expert Review arranged by CAS Bureau of International Cooperation(BIC) in April → Approval from BIC in May, 2026
※ If Salzburg students are interested in the program and have already had cooperation with CAS researcher, they can contact the researcher directly to discuss about the application. If they do not have cooperation with CAS yet, they can give us their CVs and their intended visiting institutes, my office will be happy to find the matching host researcher to them.

Fudan International Summer Session 2026 (FISS)
We are pleased to inform you that the summer program, Fudan International Summer Session 2026 (FISS), is decided to be held during July 13 – August 7, 2026(4 weeks).
The 4-week summer session had its first debut in 2012 and has welcomed more than 7,000 college students from all over the world in the past 13 years. FISS 2026 (offline, https://iss.fudan.edu.cn/) will offer more than 40 content courses taught in English, 2 PE courses (Chinese Folk Dance and Chinese Kungfu), and 3 Chinese language courses at different levels.
Various extracurricular and social activities, such as Fudan Campus Tour, Ice-breaking, Shanghai City Exploration, Huangpu River Cruise, Company Visits, Chinese Dragon & Lion Dance, Chinese Calligraphy, etc., will also be arranged for students to experience the Chinese culture and the wonders of Shanghai, and get connected with each other who are all brilliant young people from both China and abroad.
Fee:
Application fee: 400 CNY/person
Tuition fee:
– 22,000 CNY/person (Full rice)
– 19,800 CNY/person (Fudan’s partner discount)
Tuition-waived exchange students nominated by Fudan’s partner university will get both application fee and tuition waived. Please confirm the exchange quota by emailing .
Nomination:
Nominations (with students’ full names and email addresses) should be emailed to and by March 31, 2026.
Early nomination is highly recommended, so that your students can be admitted earlier, have more course options (limited seats for each course), apply visa earlier, and locate the most suitable accommodation around the Fudan campus (resources limited), etc.

2026 Japanese Language Preparatory Course (JLPC) from Gakushuin University
We would like to introduce a program for those who are thinking of coming to our university as an exchange student but have not met Gakushuin’s Japanese language requirement. We call this program “JLPC,” which stands for Japanese Language Preparatory Course. This program provides prospective students with remote Japanese classes before coming to Japan and continues to provide support for Japanese language after their arrival. We would appreciate it if you could notify students who might be interested.

1) Who can apply: Potential exchange students whose home universities offer no Japanese classes or who have not passed N4 of Japanese Language Proficiency Test

3) Quota: There is a limit to the number of participants in JLPC, and if the number of applicants exceeds the limit, we will make a selection.

Waseda University Summer Session 2026
We are thrilled to announce that applications will be opening soon for Waseda Summer Session 2026!
Waseda University offers this once-in-a-lifetime 6weeks program for Undergraduate students worldwide from June 15 to July 22, 2026.
Whether you want to explore your academic interests or Japanese unique cultures, this summer session provides the perfect opportunity.
The Summer School participants will also have the chance to meet new friends, including local students and experience campus life at Waseda.
Participants will choose 2 or 3 subjects out of 18 subjects in the context of Japan and Asia Pacific and can earn 4-6 credits (2 credits for each*).
*Each subject has 23.3 teaching hours.
