Josef Strobl
The geoinformatics expert has been involved in international Erasmus cooperation for decades, focusing on curricula development, joint studies, distance learning opportunities, student mobility and mentoring.
Josef Strobl’s commitment has led to successful studies that extend beyond the funding period. ” For example, we established a European Joint Master’s programme, coordinated by the PLUS since 2019, which is an excellence programme that generates qualitative ideas and showcases Salzburg and Austria as an attractive study destination,” says Josef Strobl, giving an example.
Strobl’s work has also resulted in numerous professional – especially academic – careers for alumni, valuable follow-up collaborations in research and teaching, and the creation of a worldwide partner network that also focuses on global “Digital Earth Citizen” perspectives within the framework of innovative Erasmus Blended Intensive Programmes.
Congratulations from the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg!
