Crosscultural Studies of Religion and Theology

Crosscultural Studies of Religion and Theology is an international, online, free access and peer-reviewed journal that examines the cross-cultural, inter- and transcultural dimensions of encounters, debates, conflicts, and transformative processes worldwide, crossing not only cultural and religious, but also academic boundaries. The focus is primarily on theological and religious studies, but contributions from anthropology, sociology and related disciplines are also welcome. The journal also publishes reports on interfaith and intercultural outreach projects. The CSRT is a cooperation between the Crosscultural Religious Studies Project and the Center for Intercultural Theology and the Study of Religions at the University of Salzburg. It is the successor of the Salzburg Theological Journal (SaThZ) – in doing so, it takes up its tradition and broadens the spectrum to include interdisciplinary, international research on religion. The CSRT is an annual, peer-reviewed, open-access publication. Entries are accepted in English and German. The issues are available online. Submissions welcome. Link to CSRT  here. ISSN: 2791-4666
