What will I learn?
Globalization, climate change, gentrification, extreme weather conditions … All of these phenomena are everyday, yet complex processes related to space. Geography students learn how to look at these processes from an analytic perspective, how to classify them according to theory, and how to consider them critically. Moreover, at the University of Salzburg we value practical experience and problem-solving competence, qualities which students will acquire in a steady exchange with the department’s lecturers. Indeed, this Bachelor’s degree course in Geography is a fascinating and extraordinarily vibrant course, which deals with the perspectives of the natural and social sciences on the spatial organization of society, economy and the environment. Discover these perspectives – we look forward to meeting you!
