Welcome to another Language Meetup of the winter semester 2025 in the Social Sciences Building on Rudolfskai (foyer) at University Salzburg. We are pleased to invite you to an inspiring discussion on the topic “My place(s), my countries/my land”. This Language Meetup offers the unique opportunity to share your love of language with other enthusiasts while having interesting discussions about places and countries. Participation is free of charge. Registration is not required: just come along and join in!

Our discussions will revolve around the theme of "My place(s)." Get inspired and share your experiences on the following questions: what places/countries have you been to? What have you experienced in these places/countries? What is your favorite place? What other countries/regions/places would you like to explore? Why?

Variety of languages

The following languages will be represented at this Language Meetup and you can hold conversations in: Arabic, Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish. The documents for the Language Meetup will be made available to participants afterwards. We look forward to your participation and to having exciting discussions about places together.
