Module completion
The following will be awarded for the supplementary study programme: These certificates can be issued for basic modules (12 ECTS), Supplementary Study Programmes (24 ECTS)
- Basic Module Languages: after successful completion of the basic module Languages amounting to at least 12 ECTS points.
- Supplementary Study Programme Languages after successful completion of the basic and advanced modules totaling at least 24 ECTS credits.
The course certificates for the relevant courses must be submitted in the specified digital form to the head of the Language Centre, who will check the ECTS credits and the correct allocation of the completed courses. The certificates are then issued on behalf of the Vice-Rectorate for Education and Student Experience by ZFL (Centre for Flexible Learning).
How do I get my certificate?
Once you have successfully completed all the required courses, download the examination pass:
- Fill out the pass, i.e. enter your name, matriculation number and your courses. Please refer to the Language Centre homepage for information on the language level you have achieved.
- Save the document with your surname in the file name (e.g. studienergaenzung_sprachen_maier.xls) on your computer.
- Then send the file with all your course certificates from PLUSonline to .
After verifying the documents, the certificate will be issued by the ZFL – Flexible Learning on behalf of the Vice-Rectorate for Education and Student Experience and will be sent digitally to your university email address.
Issuing the certificate is no longer possible after graduation. Therefore, please make sure to apply for the certificate at least a few weeks before graduation.
Please note: The supplementary study programme “Languages” can be completed by students of all fields of study who wish to acquire additional language competencies or combine their free electives into a language major. Courses that are compulsory, compulsory elective subjects of a degree program or are an admission requirement for a degree program, as well as courses in the students’ first languages or chosen fields of study, can therefore not be credited towards the “Languages”supplementary study programme .
