Florian Huber receives funding from the Anniversary Fund of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank
The Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) is funding a research project by Florian Huber at the Department of Economics entitled “Exploring the Macro-to-Micro Propagation of Aggregate Shocks: The Role of Nonlinearities and Heterogeneity” with a total budget of nearly EUR 300,000. World Language Festival with the University of Salzburg Language Meetup
On Tuesday, 13 January 2026, from 15:00 to 18:00, the next Language Meetup of the 2025/26 academic year will take place at the City:Library – as part of Salzburg’s World Languages Festival. Under the topic “Celebrating festivals”, language enthusiasts can share experiences, practice their language skills and discover new languages. Rector Bernhard Fügenschuh welcomes 10 new doctoral candidates to the AlpsChange doctoral program
Rector Bernhard Fügenschuh has officially welcomed ten new doctoral candidates to the FWF-funded doctoral school AlpsChange, which operates within the broader research framework DynamitE. These early-career researchers will tackle critical questions concerning geo- and biodiversity in the face of environmental change, using the European Alps as their principal model system.
