On November 5–6, an interdisciplinary conference on Austrian housing market research took place, organized by Christian Smigiel, Andreas Koch, Christian Zeller, and Robert Musil of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ISR). 60 participants from academia, practice, and politics spent two days discussing affordable housing, gentrification, opportunities and limitations of municipal housing policy, socio-ecological transformation, etc. Two exciting podcast episodes of our „ Sichtbar/Hörbar“ series will provide in-depth insight in December. Bavarian Radio was also a surprise guest.
