Applications are now open for the CIVIS Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) for the winter semester 2026. 

BIPs combine online coursework with a short physical mobility abroad for regular students at the University of Salzburg.  

For the upcoming winter semester, the  CIVIS Alliance is offering around 15 BIPs hosted by prestigious universities across Europe, offering a diverse, engaging, and high-quality academic experience. 

Participating in a BIP allows students to strengthen their intercultural skills, benefit from diverse teaching approaches delivered by international experts, and earn ECTS credits that can be recognised as part of their studies at the University of Salzburg. Funding opportunities are available to support participation in the programme. 

Students are encouraged to explore the available programmes, review the specific application requirements, and submit their applications in time. 

The application deadline is 3 May 2026. 

Please note that acceptance to a BIP does not automatically guarantee funding. After being selected, students must submit a separate funding application to the CIVIS Mobility Unit at the University of Salzburg. Funding is subject to mobility budget availability.
