Film Screening | „ŠTO TE NEMA (Where Have You Been?)“

On December 11, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., we will be showing the documentary film “ŠTO TE NEMA (Where Have You Been?)” in the  HS Anna Bahr-Mildenburg (E.004 U1.004).

In July 1995, within a few days, over 8,000 Bosnian Muslims—mostly men and boys—were murdered by units of the Bosnian Serb army. Thirty years after this first genocide in Europe since World War II, survivors in Bosnia and Herzegovina are still searching for their missing relatives.

The film traces the homecoming of Bosnian-American artist Aida Šehović and her participatory, nomadic memorial to the Srebrenica genocide. Dženeta Karabegović  from the Department of Sociology serves as one of the executive producers on the film. The film will be followed by a Q&A session with Ms. Šehović.

We cordially invite you to join us in reflecting on the significance of this tragic historical event for us today.
