Guest Lecture | Co-creating Nature positive Watershed Restoration: Lessons from a Small Watershed in Japan

On March 20, we will welcome Assoc. Prof.  Hironori Hayashi from Kyūshū University in Japan, who will give a lecture on a community‑driven freshwater restoration initiative on the southwestern island of Kyūshū. Supported by the National Geographic Society, this project is a meaningful example of restoring natural habitats in collaboration with the local community. The event will be moderated by Kyoko Shinozaki.
