The Language Centre of the University of Salzburg is offering a varied and diverse course program for all language enthusiasts again this semester.

Registration for University of Salzburg and Mozarteum Students from 17th February to 14th March 2025. Staff, external participants, Alumni-Club and MORE participants can also still register during this period.

We offer general language courses in 12 Languages as well as many special courses in academic German and English, business English and the course “ German as a Foreign Language: Writing  and Grammar B1/B2” for learners of German as a second language.

Extra services for individual language learning

The Language Centre offers a wide range of extra services to enable our course participants to tailor their language learning process to their needs. The offer ranges from self-study materials in the library and media library, a tandem exchange whereby language learning partnerships are arranged, to the Language Meetups that take place several times a semester. There is also still the course “Language learning: diverse and individual”, which integrates learning consultation.

Study supplement “Languages” and “Asia-Pacific Studies” (for students of the University of Salzburg)

PLUS students can bundle their acquired language skills in the form of the study supplement “Languages”. More Information can be found here: https://www.plus.ac.at/sprachen. Since the winter semester 2024/25, the study supplement “Asia-Pacific Studies” has also been  available (cooperation between the Asia-Pacific Forum and the Language Centre). Language courses in Asian languages are combined with thematically relevant courses. Appointments for Registration

Important Information:

• You need to make an appointment to register for a language course.
• Course registration appointments can only be made ONLINE via this page of the Language Centre homepage.
• University of Salzburg and Mozarteum students can make appointments from 12th February 2025, 08:30 a.m.

Staff, external participants, Alumni-Club and MORE participants can also still register during this period.

• Registration for an appointment does not mean you are registered for a language course.
• Please allow enough  time for consultation and registration.
• Registrations by telephone or e-mail cannot be accepted.
