Online event “Supporting and Caring of Family Members and other Close Persons with Dementia”

Information and consultation

 23 October 2025 I 2:00–3:30 p.m. I  online I participation is free of charge

Everyone may be faces with the task of dealing with increasingly forgetful relatives at some point in their lives. The spectre of dementia or Alzheimer’s quickly looms, raising a number of questions. As part of this event, DKGP Claudia Bernhard-Kessler BA, MSc (team leader of the care counselling service of the province of Salzburg), will provide information on what can be done if dementia is suspected, what help is available if the diagnosis is confirmed (e.g. in terms of care, financial support or relief for family carers) and what support the care counselling service of the province of Salzburg offers in this regard.

Following the presentation by the speaker, there will be ample time for questions and comments.

The event will be held in German – we are happy to arrange interpreters in Austrian Sign Language and/or English if required – if you want/need interpreters, please contact us in advance until 15 October.
