Florian Huber receives funding from the Anniversary Fund of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank
The Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) is funding a research project by Florian Huber at the Department of Economics entitled “Exploring the Macro-to-Micro Propagation of Aggregate Shocks: The Role of Nonlinearities and Heterogeneity” with a total budget of nearly EUR 300,000. Language Centre course programme for the summer semester 2026
The Language Centre of the University of Salzburg offers a diverse course programme in twelve languages for the summer semester 2026, including numerous specialised courses such as academic and business language, among others. Additional services include a tandem exchange, the Language Meetup, a media library with self-study resources, and language advising, which is integrated into the course “Learning languages: diverse and individual.” Further information on courses, registration, and additional services is available on the Language Centre’s website.
World Language Festival with the University of Salzburg Language Meetup
On Tuesday, 13 January 2026, from 15:00 to 18:00, the next Language Meetup of the 2025/26 academic year will take place at the City:Library – as part of Salzburg’s World Languages Festival. Under the topic “Celebrating festivals”, language enthusiasts can share experiences, practice their language skills and discover new languages. As part of the World Language Festival of the City of Salzburg, exciting workshops will also be offered. Participation is free and no registration is required – just drop by and join in!
