On November 20-22, the Department of Economics hosted the first PLUS Econ workshop, a forum for presenting and discussing current research in text analysis, survey experiments, and human-algorithm interactions related to policy making in the EU. Presentations by international researchers from the Ifo Institute, U Bocconi, U Cambridge, U Tor Vergata of Rome, and U Ulm made this workshop a great success!

2 December 2024 | Webinar: In the upcoming Global Space, activist and social scientist Marcela Torres Heredia will discuss the key concepts related to femi(n)icides and explain the structural and intersectional power dynamics underlying them.

The European project PEP (Promoting Plurilingual Education) and the Università degli Studi Roma Tre are organising an international conference on 23 and 24 October 2025 in Rome on the topic of ‘Building bridges towards multilingual education. Policy, research and practice’. The aim of the conference is to reflect on multilingual practices in education and to shed light on the role of multilingualism in education policy. Abstracts can be submitted until 05 January 2025.
