BIPs combine online coursework with a short physical mobility abroad for regular students at the University of Salzburg.  For the upcoming winter semester, the CIVIS Alliance is offering around 15 BIPs hosted by prestigious universities across Europe, offering diverse, engaging, and high-quality academic experience. 

30 April 2026 I Presence and online: This event focuses on one of the most pressing issues currently facing Austria and the world: the mental health of young people and the role the arts play in this.

28–31 May 2026 | Presence: This year’s Austrian Studies Association (ASA) conference will be held at the University of Salzburg. The theme is ‘Austria as Stage – Austria on Stage’. Around 200 international speakers are expected to attend.
