Podcast | Water, Waves & Reality?

Julian and Markus bring their topics to Sichtbar Hörbar: water, sound, climate crisis, podcasts, sociomateriality. In this episode, the two doctoral students talk about their scientific approaches, their first teaching experiences, and what happens when you suddenly find yourself not just thinking about sociology, but right in the middle of it.

Between a mix of theory and methodological debate, between the writing process and academic advising, they also discuss seminar chairs, chaotic desks, the most beautiful teaching moment—and the question of whether water would talk to us if it could.

A conversation about research in the making, teaching in contact, and the small shifts that make all the difference. For everyone who not only wants to study sociology, but also wants to live it—with attitude, curiosity, and the necessary dose of self-irony.
