The Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies (SCEUS) organises a two-day workshop for young scholars to offer PhD students and postdocs in law, political science, and economics the opportunity to present their research. The workshop focuses on “The State of the EU 15 years after the Lisbon Treaty” and, in particular, on the Economic and Monetary Union and the EU budget, migration and social rights, the rule of law, and enlargement.

Leading experts and experienced academics from Paris Lodron University Salzburg and other European universities will comment on the research findings. This workshop aims to create a new interdisciplinary forum where young scholars can present their research and share their ideas on the past, present and future of the EU.
