Science Slam
Recording from Thursday, June 12 | University of Salzburg, Amphitheater, Hellbrunner Straße 34

An evening full of inspiration, knowledge, and entertainment—that’s exactly what you can expect at the University of Salzburg’s Science Slam. Six slammers from six faculties will present their research on stage: entertaining, exciting, easy to understand—complex topics, simply communicated!
Holger Faby sheds light on the world of videography and auto-videography in social research, Elisabeth Höftberger takes you on a journey into the profound questions of religious traditions and their transformations, and Franziska Kinskofer will apply psychological insights in practical ways to promote well-being and human rights. Caitríona Ní Dhúill analyzes the tense interactions between literature and social crises, Silvia Traunwieser addresses ethical challenges in the digital world of work, and Eugen Unterberger shows how digital technologies can transform cultural mediation. The evening will be hosted by Bernhard Weingartner, physicist, expert in science communication, initiator, and moderator of science slams in Austria.
