Centres of the University of Salzburg
The University of Salzburg consolidates its scholarly expertise within a wide range of specialised centres. These centres provide space for interdisciplinary research, foster innovation, and facilitate collaboration among researchers within the University as well as with external partners. The ten centres currently in operation make a significant contribution to competently and sustainably addressing contemporary societal challenges.

Austrian Human Rights Institute

As a regional competence centre, the ÖIM stands for the scientifically based dissemination of human rights.

ZEA
The ZEA is dedicated to the research of poverty and social exclusion, in particular in relation to questions of ethics and philosophy.
