Tasks
Your responsibilities depend on the cost of the specific course you wish to take as part of your compensation.
For courses consisting of 1 credit hour:
- 💬 attend 5 lectures of your choice and introduce our offers
- initiate contact with the respective course instructor on your own
- we will provide the presentation and various supplementary materials (flyers, information cards)
Our recommendation for selecting courses: Introductory courses in your own department at the beginning of your bachelor’s or master’s program—the goal is to reach as many students as possible.
For courses consisting of 1.5 – 2 credit hours:
Presenting our offerings is always part of your responsibilities. Any additional tasks are suggestions from us. We’re open to ideas. In addition to presenting our offerings in lectures:
- 🔍conduct a short survey among students about the Career Center’s services (at least 20 students; survey questions can be developed independently or in collaboration with us)
- create a short social media video as an ambassador (an independent short video for our social media channels; possible topics: What do you like about the Career Center? Why would you recommend it to others? What has your experience with the Career Center been like so far?)
Compensation
Terms and Conditions for Compensation:
- timeframe for completing the course: 1 year from the start of service as an ambassador
- duration of service as an ambassador: 1 semester
