The work of the Communication and Fundraising Department is divided into four main areas:
Strategy
Strategy is every day. It includes the implementation of the University of Salzburg brand and the ongoing adjustments within our operative communication.
Press & Print
Good contacts in the press, reprints of press releases and interviews, and high-quality publications continue to be of great value to the University of Salzburg.
Science Communication
Research shapes society. We communicate scientific findings, research projects, and academic achievements from the University of Salzburg to diverse audiences through a variety of media and formats.
Student Marketing
Through targeted campaigns, digital communication, events, and information services, we support the recruitment of prospective students and showcase the University of Salzburg as a place for academic success and personal development.
Cross Media
The online editorial team uses various digital and non-digital channels (cross media) to disseminate news and topics via the Media channels of the university.
Events
We oversee all events assigned by the rectorate which are organised for both university members and the general public.
Employer Branding
We position the University of Salzburg as an attractive employer by highlighting its academic excellence, research opportunities, international environment, and diverse career paths for current and prospective employees.
Alumni
The Alumni Club is the university’s alumni network. Over 3,500 members use its information services and attend special alumni events.
