Daniela Steinberger completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education and Educational Sciences at the University of Innsbruck, specialising in Historical Educational Research. Since 2018, she has been working as a student assistant on a research project at the Institute of Educational Science. In June 2021, she moved to the University of Salzburg to start her doctoral studies in Social Sciences/FB Educational Science. Daniela Steinberger is working as a research assistant in a third-party funded research project on the history of the kindergarten system in the province of Salzburg (1945-1985). In addition to her academic career, she has practical experience of working in elementary education and childcare centres.
