Amancay Jenny has been concerned with fundamental questions about social inequality and how it can be addressed since the beginning of her studies. Intersectional and transnational perspectives play a particularly important role in her search for answers that will enable everyone to live together in solidarity and justice. Amancay Jenny is a university assistant and doctoral candidate at the Department of Education at Paris Lodron University. She studied special needs education at the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain) and subsequently worked in educational practice in Spain. In Austria, she studied pedagogy and educational science at the Paris Lodron University in Salzburg, specialising in social pedagogy, gender and migration. During her studies, she worked as a tutor and study assistant in the Social Pedagogy working group and was also involved in various research projects as a research assistant. In addition to her academic work, Amancay Jenny also has professional experience in schools, in teacher training and in voluntary association and community work. Amancay Jenny is a representative for Family, Gender, Disability & Diversity at the Department of Education.
