Right of withdrawal (online registration)

You have the right to withdraw from your contract within fourteen days from the date of registration without giving any reason. In order to do so, please inform the Language Centre of the University of Salzburg (Erzabt-Klotz-Straße 1, 5020 Salzburg, sprachenzentrum(at)plus.ac.at) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (by e-mail). For this purpose, you may use the sample withdrawal form, which is, however, not mandatory. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of the withdrawalIf you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments we have received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal of this contract. For refunding of the course fee, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction.

Special course on Romance languages

In addition, we offer in the summer semester a 2-hour course on Romance Languages for those who already have a good knowledge of French, Italian or Spanish (B1 and above) and would like to acquire parallel competences in other Romance languages.

Please note: You need an appointment to register for a language course and appointments can only be made ONLINE via this page:

• from Wednesday, 06.09., 08:30: appointments for external participants, alumni club members, university staff (PLUS und Mozarteum) and MORE participants for the 1st registration period.
• from Wednesday, 13.09., 08:30: appointments for students of the PLUS and the Mozarteum for the 2nd registration period.

Important: The link to make appointments will only appear from 6.9. or 13.09. External participants must confirm their appointment (via a confirmation link that you will receive by e-mail).

Please also note that making an appointment does not mean you have registered for a language course. If you have booked an appointment but cannot come, please inform us so that the appointment can be given to someone else.

As of Monday, 24 February 2020 you can register for language courses at the Language Centre without prior appointment at the Language Centre during office hours. There may be long waiting times on this day and we kindly ask for your understanding.

Appointments can no longer be made for the period of 17 to 21 February.
