6th PEP project meeting and training on plurilingual education at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Viseu

From 25 June to 3 July 2026, the 6th project meeting of the  project PEP (Promouvoir l’éducation plurilingue / Promoting plurilingual education, Erasmus+) took place at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Viseu, alongside a training course on plurilingual education.

The project meeting focused on the hybrid training programme on plurilingual education as well as the upcoming final phase of the project, which will run until the end of August. The partner institutions worked intensively on the final preparations for the face-to-face component of the training. In addition, the online training was reviewed, and further activities for the concluding project phase were jointly coordinated.

The subsequent training built on the topics of the online course conducted in May and June, which comprised eight modules on various aspects of plurilingual education. In these three- to four-hour modules, participants engaged intensively with key concepts of plurilingual education and its implementation in language education, working through a wide range of tasks, including interactive activities. They were able to build on this foundation in the subsequent in-person training, deepening their knowledge through eight further modules and engaging directly with language teachers from various project countries.

Special thanks go to the team at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa for their excellent organisation and warm hospitality.
