BIPs combine online coursework with a short physical mobility abroad — a distinctive format for students seeking international academic experience without committing to a full semester exchange. For summer semester 2027, the CIVIS Alliance is offering around 45 BIPs hosted by CIVIS member universities.

The language cafés are organised by Språkstudion at Stockholm University and the Language Centre of the University of Salzburg within the framework of the CIVIS University Alliance. The Romance Language Café is additionally organised in cooperation with the University of Thessaly.
