Tetiana Mazanko has joined our research group as an office assistant. Tetiana holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in Information and Computer Engineering (with a specialization in printing and publishing), both from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. From September 28-29, 2023, the Department of Economics at Paris Lodron University Salzburg (PLUS) hosted the annual meeting of the Nationalökonomische Gesellschaft for the first time in Salzburg. The NOeG is the largest association of Austrian economists and about 150 participants accepted the invitation to present and discuss their latest research in Salzburg. The conference also featured two keynotes, one by Maximilian Kasy (Oxford University) on “Economics & Machine Learning” and the other by Claudia Steinwender on  “Industrial Policy during the Great Divergence”. Thanks to all participants for coming to Salzburg!

The first Workshop on Analysis of Network Dynamics (WAND) will be held in conjunction with the 37th International Symposium on Distributed Computing (DISC 2023) and will take place on October 9th 2023 in L’Aquila, Italy, at the Gran Sasso Science Institute.
