Welcome to the Preparatory course for mathematicians – your first step on the way to a successful study start! This course is specifically designed to refresh and strengthen your math skills and get you to a good level at the start of the semester. Whether you are just out of school or have already had a break from mathematics, our course offers you the perfect opportunity to prepare for the challenges of studying.
Key concepts from various disciplines of mathematics are reviewed in an understandable way, so that you can start your studies confidently and self-assured. Our experienced lecturers will guide you through interactive lectures, exciting exercises and numerous examples to help you understand and apply mathematical concepts.

Where? Due to room availability we change daywise. HS 414 at 23./ 24./ 29. of September and HS 424 at 25./ 28. of September at the NLW, Hellbrunnerstr. 34
Registration via PLUSonline under the LV no. 405.999 from 31 August 2026.
The preparatory course, offered as a lecture with exercises, can be credited as a free elective course within the degree programme (1 ECTS).
