There are a limited number of scholarship opportunities available for suitable candidates. To apply for a scholarship to study Syriac Theology at the University of Salzburg and/or admission to ‘Beth Suryoye’, the student housing of the Suryoye Theological Seminary Salzburg (STSS), please send formal applications along with the following documents to the Secretary of `Beth Suryoye`, Abdulmesih BarAbraham, email: :
1. Certificate of acceptance from the University of Salzburg to study for the MA in Syriac Theology.
2. A letter outlining why you wish to study Syriac theology and what you intend to do afterwards (e.g. to become a teacher, priest etc).
3. Professional CV
4. A text describing your family background and financial situation
5. A letter of recommendation from a local bishop/archbishop
Once the STSS receives the application along with the above listed documents, the board of the STSS will decide on admission to Beth Suryoye and/or a scholarship.
