Bachelor study Teacher Training in Ethics

The aim of the Bachelor’s degree programme in Teacher Training in Ethics is to acquire subject-specific and didactic skills that enable students to develop and critically reflect on ethical issues. These should be placed in relation to life and science and prepared in a skills-orientated way for teaching in schools.

Philosophical, psychological, methodological and didactic basic competences are acquired in the three foundation modules.

In four subsequent modules, students acquire fundamental skills in the main areas of philosophical ethics and its didactics. The examination of individually and socially relevant ethical topics concerning nature, law, economics, politics, media, science, medicine, technology or religions is of particular importance.

In two further modules, students acquire competences from related sciences that are relevant for dealing with ethical issues.

Knowledge of the related sciences of the subject can be integrated into all courses.
