Anna Breitwieser completed her master’s degree in philosophy and psychology (PP) and German at the University of Salzburg. She then taught the elective course ‘Philosophising with Children’ and German at a secondary school. She received her doctorate from the School of Education in Salzburg with a dissertation focusing on interdisciplinary philosophising. She is currently completing her second doctoral degree as part of the FWF project ‘Knowledge in Crisis’ in the Department of Philosophy. Under the supervision of Bettina Bussmann and David Lanius, her dissertation focuses on epistemic competences – their conceptual definition and the question of how they can be promoted and developed across disciplines and in different learning environments.
