Deadlines and dates:

  • February 1, 2026: Application deadline;

  • Spring, summer, fall 2026: Evaluation of submitted works by the jury;

  • August 14, 2026: Opportunity to submit additional responses to the submitted work;

EXPLANATION: Since responses to the submitted work (reviews or comparable assessments or statements, including interviews, media reports, etc.) often appear or are published after the application deadline, these can also be submittd to Ms. Elisabeth Egger after the application deadline. These will be forwarded to the jury so that they can still be included in the assessment.

Reguired information: any close relationship to the author (e.g., co-authorship, visiting professorship, same organizational unit).

  • Fall 2026: Award decision
