Sub-logos
Internal secondary logos, also referred to as secondary logos, that is, logos created for faculties, departments, institutes, research units, laboratories, centres or similar organisational entities, are generally not permitted at the University of Salzburg.
To support the visibility and recognisability of individual organisational units, a sub-logo is used, consisting of the University logo combined with a designation beneath it. The design of sub-logos follows an either-or principle: only one organisational level may be named, for example either the faculty, the department or the specific unit.
Sub-logos are subject to a maximum length of 80 characters and may not exceed two lines. After logging into the intranet, you can download the current sub-logos in various formats and in both German and English.
Important: Sub-logos can be requested via . When requesting a sub-logo, please provide the official name of your organisational unit in both German and English. As a rule, we use British English spelling; however, American English spelling may be accommodated in justified exceptional cases.
