On 17 and 18 September, the Centre of European Union Studies (SCEUS) in Salzburg and RTR hosted the 26th Salzburg Telekom Forum with the support of the European Commission. Political decision-makers and experts came together to discuss the political, economic and legal perspectives of digital sovereignty.

As part of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EUCHALLENGES Programme, the SCEUS Summer School on Financial Integration took place from 14 to 18 July 2025. Over the course of five days, participants engaged in interesting lectures and discussions together with academics and practioners from the EU institutions.

A workshop on “National Parliaments in the EU” took place from May 22 to 23. Experts from various EU member states discussed the role of national parliaments in the European Union. The event offered exciting presentations and transnational exchange.
Roundtable Digital Euro
Digital Euro and Crypto Assets
On December 12, 2024, as part of the Jean Monnet project “EU Challenges”, a roundtable on the topic “The legal framework for a digital Euro and the regulation of crypto assets in the EU to date”, was held. In cooperation with the European Banking Institute (EBI) and the European Communities Studies Association (ESCA), exciting discussions took place on the topic of “Digital Euro and Crypot Assets”.
