Gemma Mateo is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Salzburg, working on the  TRADEPOWER project. She received her PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2004. Her research focuses on questions of European integration and interest group politics. Among other things, she has published articles in Comparative Political Studies, the European Journal of Political Research and the Journal of Common Market Studies. She has also co-edited a special issue of the Journal of European Public Policy. The book Insiders versus Outsiders: Interest Group Politics in Multilevel Europe, which she co-authored, was published by Oxford University Press in 2016.
